One of the key words in D&D Elevator’s mission statement is “qualified.” We have spent the last 17 years developing and delivering both apprenticeship and continuing education programs for our employees. As a result, D&D has some of the finest most qualified technicians and support staff in our service area.
D&D Elevator delivers the highest level of safety training to our field staff each week using the most updated and proven delivery methods, with full accountability and feedback. Our dedicated safety director monitors and audits our projects to ensure that safety guidelines are being strictly followed and that all safety equipment is fully functional. The most important part of a D&D Elevator technician’s job is going home to his or her family after a hard day’s work!
D&D Elevator is proud to host one of only three approved New York State Apprenticeship programs for Elevator Training that meets and exceeds state and federal guidelines. Our program includes semi-annual wage increases for successfully achieving educational and skill proficiency goals and objectives. Qualified veterans may be eligible for educational subsidies through Department of Veterans Affairs assistance programs.
D&D Elevator offers weekly continuing education classes and, throughout the year, hosts several manufacturers’ technical courses to enhance our technicians’ skills and productivity.
Our seasoned certified instructors are well versed in today’s technology and are qualified to train on all aspects of elevator operation as well as safety training, code compliance, and OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
D&D offers reimbursement for employees who successfully complete qualified educational programs that expand their skills and productivity. In addition, our training participation rewards program recognizes technicians who consistently participate in our continuing education programs.
